RETENTORES DYNAMIC

The DYNAMIC brand is the company's division specializing in dynamic seals for engines, transmissions and running gear. The function of seals is to seal different fluids in dynamic components of the engine or equipment.

Most seals are basically made up of three parts: metal housing, compression spring and elastomeric coating with sealing lip, with the exception of some applications where the use of the spring can be suppressed by the project design, such as models with design HD or produced with PTFE material.

The sealing lip is the contact area of the seal with the shaft to be sealed. The design of its angle of attack guarantees complete sealing with less friction, influencing the engine's fuel economy and the seal's durability. Drall or Rib are the grooves molded into the lip, which can be designed for clockwise, counterclockwise or bidirectional rotation. Its function is to assist the seal made by the lip, by pumping the fluid in the opposite direction of the seal's rotation.

Different elastomeric compositions are used in the seals, which are adapted to the specifications of each engine, the type of fuel, class of lubricant used, etc. Different colors and acronyms are adopted to identify the elastomer, making it easily recognized both on the product and on the packaging of SPAAL | DYNAMIC.
